Estate agency in Kingsbridge are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join the team as a Property Management Coordinator

In this role you will provide property management assistance to the Lettings Manager to help build, grow and develop a highly successful and profitable department.

Typical Property Management Coordinator duties will include:
• ensuring that maintenance issues in all managed properties are resolved in an appropriate and timely manner.
• liaising with landlords and tenants over any insurance claims that arise and liaise with insurance companies to chase outstanding claims as required.
• ensuring all properties have an up to date gas certificate
• overseeing day to day, contracted and cyclical maintenance.
• dealing with landlords and tenants queries verbally and in written form in a timely manner.
• liaising with landlords and tenants regarding inspections and inventories to resolve any issues that arise.
• ensuring that any necessary letters and reports are prepared and issued to landlords and tenants after the end of each tenancy.
• ensuring management visits are carried out to all properties compiling a report and ensuring any maintenance work is carried out.
• liaising and negotiate between the landlords and tenants at the end of the tenancy with regard to the release of the deposit.
• general administration

The successful Property Management Coordinator will ideally have:
• 2 years’ experience in day to day property management of a lettings department
• knowledge of the local lettings market
• knowledge of lettings standards and best practice
• experience of working with Microsoft office packages
• ARLA qualification would be an advantage
• full clean driving licence

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday with rota Saturday with day in lieu, with a salary of between £18,500 and £20,000 depending on experience, share of annual bonus based on department profit and the use of a pool car or mileage allowance if own car is used.
